Der Tagesbogen, Kunstraum Walcheturm, Zurich, 2018

The title of the installation Der Tagesbogen (The day bow) relates to an astronomical phenomenon: that part of the visible star road that corresponds to the mathematical horizon. My studio, which I moved to the rooms of Kunstraum Walcheturm, in Zurich, functions as a support to plasterboard walls and nets hanging vertically from the ceiling. A new architecture is drawn as if it were two different, non-coincidental spaces. The installation, built according to the position of the windows in the room, allows a horizontal line of light to enter between the walls of the plasterboard and the objects during the day, giving them a sense of suspension and precarity.
